Punch line: khud ke liye ji lo zara

Let’s revisit that day of the history exam in school where we tried almost all tricks of the trade to keep ourselves awake till late night with a sip of a hot kadak cup of coffee or by pinching ourselves while on the brink of dozing off or even crazier effort to somehow stick our eyelids such that it doesn’t forfeit to gravity. All of those unkind acts of self-pain only to dwell in to that pretty ‘almost there’ scenario which has remained vague to date. Then comes the D day and our unflapping self embarks to crack the ruthless question paper. Here is when it meets the moment of harsh realization that due to a little misunderstanding by our (over)confident self in flipping through the exam timetable we took it history for maths, and  then suddenly that high-spirited ready to be unleashed fellow who flew high just a second before nosedives into the deepest of oceans. Well experience can be a good mentor.

This ad here of reliance fresh doesn’t go too far from above case where the cast, the husband and wife somewhere in their 50s, played by two very good actors, portrays a very happy couple who shows affection for each-other on an event of the wife going to a fun trip with her girl gang, and the husband attempts many small lighthearted efforts to put her off from the fun trip but in vain. In the closing part of ad when she ultimately embarks on the much desired journey it halts just to aghast the viewer with a nasty punch of reliance fresh logo flashing on the screen along with the tag line khud ke liye ji lo zara!!!

Well its here that things become too painful for a normal human mind to connect as to how this whole nice little story promotes the brand selling groceries. This is one way how can a well behaved human mind short-circuits !!!
So in the verdict- A good exhaustive effort made here by the ad-maker meets an abrupt dead end that eventually leaves the viewer puzzled/baffled in establishing product-ad relation.

Punch line:- “ Dosti Jo Rang laaye" What a name to have for a tea brand in the first place. Though a big concern here may be a banal plot to elaborate it which seems like a long and overly predictable movie sequence presented mushily. It sets a perfect jovial tone just at the onset of the commercial with a little bantering to the “ to be groom” from his picture perfect family. But from there on it switches itself to a soap-opera that runs all throughout the 7 min of commercial voicing an initial apprehension of a girl seemingly coming from a contemporary urban background for a jumbo size joint family of her to be fiance  that fizzles out eventually thanks to the sweet friendly reception shown by the guy’s family. Though this ad strikes the right chord with the audience by tea & friendship bond which surely has an overwhelming acceptance across the globe but collapsing while bringing it up with a touch of compelling surprise element as each succeeding sequenc...

Vodafone zoo zoo commercials

Vodafone add-ons:- tailored for fun and more...!!! Selling the add-ons is what it takes to run the show especially in the telecom sector today. And since they are super dynamic, Vodafone brings it up with a very novel idea by fascinating the audience with equally energetic and all time recharged zingy zoo zoos, who are catchy creatures and does almost all acts under the sun with the touch of fun and vigour. The background scores blends just right away to the show, hence resonating appropriately to the viewers. Vodafone zoo zoos came in to existence at the time of IPL-2 and from there on it has served the purpose quite well for the company not just at the sales promotional front but also by fortifying the brand identity with their already existing vast consumer base. Advertisement Review- Alpenlebe frooters

Punch line:- chatpata khol… chatpata bol … How do we realize the racy, zingy test of a confectionery just by watching someone popping it on our big 40 inch TV or a trendy laptop screen?… sounds frustrating… right? Well this Alpenlebe frooters ad here will surely pump you up to fall for it in a rather distinctly funny way…. But with a word of caution for not succumbing to this delicacy and to allow that suppressed ‘satyawadi’ in you to utter out some disastrous truth loud and upfront. The old lady in the ad is so carried away by the chatpata taste of alpenlebe frooters that she doesn’t even think twice to come up with that sharp harsh reality that rips apart the boy who is getting lambasted by his father for scoring 43% marks in the exam. The reaction aftermath of this grand disclosure is also note worthily presented. Click below to find out how it occurs.
